Because the Songcontest is coming next week, I've decided to make a special Learn Dutch video with the Eurovision Songcontest as a theme!

Eurovisie Songfestival = Eurovision Songcontest
Halve finale = semifinal (half/halve = semi)
Finale = final
Kwalificeren = to qualify

2. Words from "Birds"

Vogels = birds

Regendruppels = raindrops

Vleugel = wing

Dromen = dreams

Lucht = air

Herinneringen = memories

3. Verb: To vote (stemmen)

Ik stem = I vote

Jij/u stemt, stem jij? = You vote, you vote?

Hij/zij/het

 = He/she/it votes

Wij/jullie/zij stemmen (mv) = we/you (plural)/they vote

Examples:

Ik stem op Anouk. = I vote on Anouk.

Stem jij op Nederland? = Do you vote on the Netherlands?

Hij stemt niet op Nederland. = He doesn’t vote on the Netherlands. 

Wij stemmen op Anouk. = We vote on Anouk.
